Olive culture is deeply ingrained in Turkish society and plays a significant role in the country's culinary traditions, economy, and cultural heritage. Türkiye has a long and rich history when it comes to olive oil production. Olive trees have been cultivated in Türkiye for thousands of years, with some estimates suggesting that olive cultivation in the region dates back to at least 2000 BC.

Türkiye olive oil is known for its fruity and slightly spicy flavor, with a golden-green color and a rich aroma. It is widely used in Turkish cuisine, from salads and dips to grilled meats and vegetables. Olive oil is also used in traditional Turkish beauty and skincare products, as it is believed to have moisturizing and anti-aging properties. Türkiye is one of the largest producers of olive in the world, with over 2.5 million tons of olive produced annually. These olives are processed according to their different characteristics and become different types of table olives and olive oils.


The country's olive oil industry continues to grow. As well as modern technological industrial production, traditional methods of extracting olive oil, such as stone mills and cold pressing, are still used in many parts of the country.Turkish olive oil is exported to countries around the world, making it a valuable commodity for the Turkish economy.

Aler Oil Agriculture Food Incorportaion is a family owned business established in 2012 in Adana, a province well known for its fertile lands and high-quality agricultural products within the Eastern Mediterranean Region.

We believe we are a representative of this unique and important region and we are committed to represent it as best as possible while producing each of our products. Our region has been home to many civilisations throughout history and olives have been an important source of food and trade. 35% of Türkiye's olive trees are in our region.

Our production facility is one of the largest in the region. The professionals who work in our company are trained in the food industry and have more than 30 years of experience. Domesticaly and internationaly we work with big retailer chains and food services companies. Our brand has been represented in more than 15 countries.

The Heart of Our Production: Our Olive Farms

We produce and pack table olives and olive oil, offering a wide range of different packing formats and varieties depending on our customer’s needs. In our region, we are one of the few companies producing olive oil and table olives and managing own olive orchard with 13.000 olive and 3.000 almond trees on 420.000 m² land at the same time, which gives us the advantage to monitor the olive from the beginning of its growth to harvesting and to processing. We harvest olive farms more than 4.000.000 m² during olive season This is one of the main reasons why we stay competitive while offering the best value to our customers.

Our President

Our President and the founder Ali Cetin Onder has been an entrepreneur investing in a various number of sectors since 1974. His vision and determination have had the leading effect on establishing our pathway today. Erman Onder, his son and the General Manager of the company, worked in various sectors overseas and in Turkey before the establishment of Aler. He received his MBA degree from the UC San Diego and St. John’s University in New York after graduating from Yildiz Technical University with a bachelors in Chemical Engineering. In addition, he attended research and training programs on olive and olive oil at UC Davis, Olive Centre.

Aler complies with all its legal commitments including environmental, quality and food safety. We make sure our production facility operates under good sanitary conditions by having a strict written hygiene policy our employees are required to comply with. The facility is regularly cleaned and undergoes regular sanitation inspections. These precautions are taken to protect the health of our employees and to sustain high quality production. We follow the methods of International Olive Council (IOC) standards without compromise. In addition to internal audit procedures, our company is regularly audited by independent organisations. Transparency and documentability are among the values to which our company is sensitive.
